Not that you really need our approval to date someone you think is worth hanging out with more, but I know I'd do it without a second thought if I was at the dating stage with someone. Then again, older guys get a double thumbs up from me pretty much always, so there's probably bias on my part. But yeah, if you feel good about getting to know this guy better and think it can lead to good things despite the age/life experience gap, then go for it, I say.
