My friend is trying to hook us up but he's so cool and I'm not cool at all! I like fighting games and reading and I'm a terrible dancer. He's a DJ and dresses like a skater and dances all the time! Can someone teach me? Can someone teach me...to be cool?

First of all, holyshityoumightgethookedupwiththatangeleyedmotherfucker, second of all, cool is a matter of making whatever the heck you do cool. Fighting games and reading can be cool, you've just gotta stand your ground on it. Basically, it's cool if you believe, nay, radiate that it's cool.

Also, dance, unlike cool, can be taught.

Okay sorry, I realise I was being a bit stupid with that question. I know reading and computer games can be as 'cool' as you make them, and I'm not embarrassed to like either. I am just not very self-assured. It is difficult to explain and not really something I want to air all over the thread. I shouldn't have asked the question. Thanks for responding and trying to help.

Totally wasn't a stupid question man - It's a lot of pressure. But the real secret is to just be you. Honest. Just keep doing the things you do, and people will find you cool, we all do. Also, in the words of David Jordan "Dance like you're the only one around". Honestly it just works, get drunk and move body parts.
