The Soul Calibur community is dying because Project Soul hasn't released any information on a sequel, nor have they been supporting SCV any longer. There is no new content to keep the game fresh. Saying a bunch of gay guys being gay in a thread filed in a "Controversial" subforum sent the Soul Calibur community to its doom is pretty damn hateful. Got some built-up sexual frustration? Go cry somewhere else about how we're "creating a rift in the community." I get that you talk big like you love marriage equality, but you contradict that when you blame us for driving a game's interest into the ground. This isn't a mandatory thread for all gay guys to post in. If you want to post here you can, but gay members aren't restricted to posting here. You want some equality? Make a fucking "Str8s thread." We'll see how that goes for you. There's already a Hot Girls thread, which is pretty much the "straight" equivalent to this. Your posts in this thread aren't constructive or even sensical. You saw something you didn't like so you hyper-criticized it. You're a newcomer yourself, don't start thinking you know better than people who have been here for years. Here's the thing. This is a minor part of a huge SC website. You think a vast amount of time has been put into this thread? Sure, it damn well has. By us. A minority portion of the entire site, so no, I don't think a noobie is gonna come to 8WR with the purpose of meeting other fans of the game, stumble into this thread and be put off the game forever, and do you know why? Because they're likely mature enough to realise we are just a PART of the SC fandom, and that, surprisingly enough, SC fans are interested in things OTHER THAN SOUL CALIBUR HOLY SHIT I KNOW RIGHT?

If that does happen. If little Billy says "Man I wanna learn Ivy more and have more SC friends, I'll join 8WR!" and decides, for some reason, to eschew the VERY detailed and dedicated Soul Arenas, in favour of clicking MATURE/CONVERSATIONAL, then that's Billy's problem. And if his dumb enough to click into a thread IN that sub-forum, and then get offended, then little Billy is a moron. If he's immature enough to go running from the game forever because of a few of it's fans, then Billy isn't mature enough to be on this site in the first place.

I'm not going to say you're homophobic - I don't know you so I couldn't possibly know that. You say you're not and that's fine, but here's the part that get's me:

You're offended by things you've read in here so you've come to tell us all of your outrage (expecting who-knows what kind of response), whilst at the same time telling us how you're such a white knight for gay rights! (Keep arguing with your bud about being pro-gay marriage, that's lovely).

But now you've been made aware of the HAWT ASS thread. Do yourself a favour - Go read THAT thread. Then post in there about how offended you are by the posts you find.

Lol why are yall so mad? I thought i said sorry in my previous post. I thought I made it clear that I was unaware of the things you all told me,but whatever get mad all you want. Welp done with this community dont bother responding.
