I just am tired of the fighting. I am sick of the homophobia, I am sick of the LGBT community killing themselves because of society, I am sick of it ALL.

When I see the whole "I hate straights" it just makes me think of another thing for the heterosexual people to hold over our heads to justify their hate.

I AM SICK OF RELIGIOUS HOMOPHOBES GETTING MORE FUEL TO LIGHT US ON FIRE WITH.

That is a good point. I'm not actually arguing against that point, per se.

Hooooowever; I've a friend who once told me that I ought to just be more silent, and not say much when all the lunatics raved on about how I deserved to be stoned to death and burn in hell. I could do that, I could, y'know, not give them more things to use against me, but to me, that somehow implies that they have the right to speak out and I don't. If I'm not allowed to call them out on their bullshit, but they're allowed to demonize me for breathing, then what the actual fuck is the point of anything?

I've only heard it used about offences so trivial that it looks like all the white people who think that "cracker" is as offensive as the N-word and that being the butt of jokes about our genetic intolerance to spicy food is somehow as oppressive as slavery.

I understand that. It isn't fair. I wish I could be outspoken about these kind of things in my town but sadly alot of it is really religious and homophobic. I don't want that kind of attention on myself.
