Well if i start to find the combos dont matter ill feel much better about the game. For now all I can do is play keep away with dhalsim..which probably isn't a lot of fun for my opponent.
Yeah outburst was unnecessary...but who hasn't had video game rage and not exploded? However...that advice was horrible. Stand next to them...? What do you think i was doing the entire time?!? The correct advice would've been revealing the fact you need to hold back with Dhalsim as the game NEVER tells you. And then you throw ego on top of it? That's pretty annoying. I know it's a norm for people to act that way online (for what reasons i still can not figure)...but it gets old. I just dealt with every Shoryuken premium member having over blown egos and acting like they're helping the n00bs" when really they had the worst advice and were just sniping people off incredibly dumb points (all of you focusing on my HP > haduken example...take a logics course please). I find it increasingly odd how the no names and the casuals often have much better advice and act far more intelligent. Perhaps it's my fault for putting my self in a community that praises the anti-intellectuals and condemns anything productive, as it seems with all gaming forums.
I'm starting to find the windows, just wish the game gave me better clues. Finding that i need to hold back by chance made me pretty mad since it's a completely different move that is unlisted. Sagat's fake kick still feels impossible, i completely tilted the controller and just tapped as fast as possible and still never saw it once.I even tried slide inputting hPPP. Besides mapping H to 2 buttons i don't know how this is humanly possible in any fight.
I think i'll feel better about the game once i stop aiming to learn combos and focus on the other aspects.
