Not only mechanics, Warriors Orochi latest edition have Sophitia as the "staring guest", this might be a well calculated move to bring fans to the series, she is probably back to "allure" new players that liked her appearance in the other game, thus they kept the design of a past game, which is somewhat uncharacteristic to happen in SC.
 
Remember fellas you can create a japanese account and still have acsess to the demo aswell. Also just choose english so you can understand language. Ill definately check it out on the 14th aswell. I suggest you guys who love sc to do it to. Sorry for spelling typing fast.
 
UPDATE: Namco-Bandai has informed us that this "domestic" beta test is for Japan only. A Japanese PSN account will be required to download the beta. There are currently no plans to bring the beta test to other territories.

It seems like a counterproductive decision, considering that the series sells better in the west than Japan, as well as the game already seeming to be in english.
