why does mitsurugi feel so shitty in this game?

did the frame data change? some of the things I used to be able to punish doesn't work anymore.

Finally downloaded it earlier today. I have to say, I have mixed feelings. I currently picked Sophitia and oh boy did they simplify her lol I had her Soul Calibur 4 moveset stuck in my mind so I'm trying to adjust to her new style. I tried doing the special event to unlock taki but failed lol
