Sad story

The had to take it back for that reason. They could not jeopardize the movie in any way, and should something bad have happened to it then many ripple effects would take place. It is much easier to take back the DVD as to avoid these problems in the future.

But back on topic, I read about this on MSN a few days ago. It is quite sad, but I am glad she got to "See" the movie that she had wanted to see for so long!

The movie's not even released as a DVD yet. It's still in theaters. Doubt they'll let a potentially perfect copy leak early simply 'cause of piracy concerns. There could also be some wonky legal agreements with distributors etc that'd pop up if they did release one early.
 
I'm sure the girl's parents are more than willing to just buy the DVD when it comes out anyways. It's not like anybody feels they were entitled to it except you...
 
Wow...at least they granted her wish...I feel bad she couldn't keep her eyes opened while watching the movie -_-.
