Resistance 1 and 2

I just finished R2 (first FPS I've played since duke nukem 3D) I found story mode to be pretty terrible but fun and I haven't even touched online due to the fact that no one else I know has this game. I was thinking about trying co-op sometime this week so I'm wondering: is co-op really fun with a random group or will it probably be an experience similar to most pugs in wow?

If your entire team has microphones, then its really fun... Resistance 2 has an AI Director similar to Left 4 Dead, so the missions will scale depending on the level of the players... In fact, if you really want to it on the level of insanity and chaos as L4D, play Bryce Canyon with a good team... its psycho and has some of the hardest missions in the game. In fact, there is one mission where a Patriarch and an entire squad of Overseers come to bum rush a communications tower... even with good teams... only ever survived once.

If your team doesn't have mics... it may as well be a PUG.

for me part 1 wa so & so. thinking about getting part 2. is it worth it (not intereted in online at all!)??
