Resident Evil 6

The longer it takes to kill stuff the more enemies you have so you don't have to worry about running around trying to extend you combo. It makes sense to me.

the shoot-face-melee strat is legit on all stages. except with Zombies you are countering them more and you have to move around more. but knifing won't get you a higher score than a gun will. it works but not as well as a hand gun.
 
I understand, I know it is a nice way, but Ada's 50 ammo box is just not good you need to aim right and at least two shots with is hard...Picador in other hand....

Well with knife you don't have to worry about ammo and if you accidentally kill them before the melee you still get the points. Also you can get time on enemies like dogs that don't stun. Also knife can headshot multiple enemies at once. Stun rod is beast.
