Remember Soul Edge?

Hi everyone, I'm new to Soul Calibur V and happy to see it still going strong. I remember playing from the Soul Edge days and am happy to get back into it. Back then my character was Taki but I've really taken an interest in Ivy now. Also experimenting with Ezio but I don't see him much in the higher level matches on YouTube and what not so I take it he's not too competitive.

Getting back into it after a long absence (haven't owned a game since Soul Calibur for the Dreamcast, you youngun's probably don't even know what system that was, lol)and would appreciate any help and encouragement as possible.

I'm bad, but I plan on getting better :-)
 
Welcome and hope to see you around. I never played Soul Calibur before, but I've played Soul Edge, SC2, and every other installment afterwards. Despite some members rather young here, some of us do remember the older gens of SC so you're not alone on that. As for Ezio stuff, I only know of Juez and Jimbonator as 2 competent ones to look up for some help.

In general poke around the Soul Arenas, seek out people to play online with, and always ask when stuck.

Thank you, I will do that. Already learning a bunch by, as you suggested, just poking around :)
