Release Dates + Ezio + Dampierre + More!

Why not? we can stay sure that will not cost around 100 dollars for the simple reason that will not have any figure or special thing for make it more expensive, the aditional content is just paper printed, the signature don't worth the same if is not hand made like those with drawings! that they gived to Kayane and remember we ever get aditional free things when we pre-order a game and this is not the exeption but anyway we don't have the official data from Namco yet, we just have this web from i get the price http://www.gamestop.com/ps3/games/soulcalibur-v/91096 so let's make that question to Daishi for star to save money :)
Actually, as pointed out in other threads, that $80 MSRP was given to Gamestop by Namco Bandai directly. And the European version, which includes the signed art and parchment letter, costs the equivalent of about $96 US.

“Free stuff” with a preorder usually means just downloadable CAS or something equally trivial. Never a combination of OST, DVD, full color art book, large packaging, etc. etc. That stuff costs money to make, and more importantly, people will pay extra for it. The entire purpose of a CE is to boost revenue by giving dedicated fans more junk to buy.

It doesn’t matter, $80 is a totally fair price by my standards and I will be preordering ASAP. I’m only mildly jealous I don’t get the parchment “letter of thanks” (yes I’m a total sap that way), but considering the $16 premium for it, I can gladly do without.

I agree that 80 is fair price. The means about 20 for an art book, the album, a "making of" documentary, signed art by the staff, dlc and a case to hold it all. Much more worth it than SE sc4.

yeah you are right!,but the thing is that i can't find nothing in the picture for guess that will cost over $100 dollars when I pre-order and bought Soulcalibur Broken Destiny they gift me an artbook and one Cd of the most popular soundtracks in the soulcalibur series, and this package look be the same,WE the real fans of SC. want a most valuable premium edition made by the own developer company of the game and that if could cost around or more than $100 dollars like this one from Halo reach
HR_LEGENDARY.jpg
or this one from GoW3
gears-of-war-3-epic-edition.png

and there are still more games with most worth content for fans,we only got things from another companys like those old figures from Todd Mcfarlane or the figure of Ivy from Queens Gate game actually is this one
SoulCaliburIvy(HobbyJapan)-550x.jpg
and soo...Whats Wrong with Namco they where merged with BANDAI so I guess they could do even a more worth collection editon of SCV maybe they think that will not be sold like the editons from the another developers,so I belive this edition lacks, hope you understandme :)
