Gameplay is strong. Fighting is fun and for the first time rockstar has a morality meter that actually lets you play a good guy. Instead of some guy who blows up half a city and muses if he's doing the right thing or not. Graphics are fantastic. Whether you're wandering a snowy forest in the mountains or galloping through the south western desert the landscapes are beautiful. Frankly after fallout 3's muddy depiction of a desert, this one really puts Bethesda to shame. Storyline.... ehhhhhh. There's some great story missions and some real stinkers, and good God I cannot stand to hear the people in this game talk. It's not the voice acting that's the problem, unless that grave digger guy or Irish are around. To put it in the game's lexicon they despise the government something fierce. And it's not just the feds that get it. One second the sherrif is like "Damned federals, government ain't worth shit" Then the sherrif gets to a farmhouse where people have been killed "Damn you sherrif, you can't protect no one, all you government men ain't worth shit" Then the townspeople spank their kids and the kids sulk about their parents being just like the government as they saunter off. I had to put the damned game on mute eventually. I kid you not.
