A blick person is a black person whose skin is so dark, so blacker than black, that when you look at them, you'll stare at the abyss, and the abyss will stare back at you.

Many of these are actually horrible popular misconceptions. Which is ironic, because who ever made this was trying to be a smart ass, yet wound up looking like a dumb ass. The Wright brothers for instance were not laughed at, nor did anyone doubt a machine could fly through the air. They actually had several competitors and people had been trying to build flying machines for years before theirs succeeded.
