Something every driver should know before they even get on the road:
HOW TO BREAK UP STOP AND GO TRAFFIC

Stop and go traffic forms in waves. To break it up is really goddamn simple. Just keep a car's length or two between you and the car in front of you. Every time the car in front of you stops and gos you get to keep a slow but steady pace the entire time, which doesn't fuck up your gas mileage nearly as much. It also breaks up the stop and go for every person behind you, too.

I'm going to assume you don't live in an area with traffic half as bad as Atlanta or Beijing then ;)

Doing that in rush hour just means some jackass *WILL* cut into your lane and try to get in front of you, meaning you'll be held up longer and so will the lane that jackass was in as he's too stupid, hasty, and narrow-minded to realize constantly changing lanes is only a method for self-gratification rather than accomplishing anything remotely productive. I'd know, I have far too much experience in Atlanta traffic -.-

Ever notice how WWII seems like it was the last 'justified' war? I'm increasingly pleased to know that even it is becoming more and more de-mythed as time goes on and people are learning that indeed, it was just as bad for all parties as most any other war in spite of its incredibly high approval rating. From American/British 24/7 bombing of innocent German civilians(Berlin was all but razed to the ground), to holy-fucking-shit there was a situation where the NAZIS WERE THE GOOD GUYS, to the Roosevelt/Churchill conspiracy to get America into the war...And now today the American government finally admitted Soviet guilt in something initially blamed on the equally-evil Nazis. Nothing about war is glamorous, nor worthy of being glorified. War is inherently bad, period.

Im good friends with this guy named adam. He's nice and all, but I just found out the other day that he thinks obama is GOOD, and that bush was 100000 times worse.
