Three kids were up late in their tree-house chatting.

The first kid says, "Last night, Daddy made me touch his snake!"

The second kid says, "That's nothing, last night, Daddy made me kiss his snake!"

The last kid sighs and says, "I wish my dad was a reptile enthusiast. He just fucks me in the arse."

Definition of a first world problem.

A kid your age in Somalia could probably tell you stories about dodging genocide, murderous street gangs, food shortages, the threat of becoming collateral damage or a child soldier in never ending conflicts and terror attacks, rampant disease, rape, human trafficking, having to commute in a landmine ridden country, frequent power outages, forced labor camps and a complete and total lack of clean water.

And you're bitching about paperwork that may lead you to your dream job, some great experiences and a better life?

Perspective kiddo.

Actually i used to think like you do Ghenjis but i find it rather easy and useless to state bigger problems with the intent to simply banalize one's own problems. Not having the worst life conditions in the world doesn't take away your right to consider having problems or having things that pisses you off. As a personnal way of thinking im just like you but i find it rude to judge how other people than ourselves think and react to situations. Everyone's reality is different and it is in our best interest to try to help and support one another.

Basically what im saying is dont make something sound ridiculous or childish just because YOU would think of this situation differently. NO offense just wanted to say my two cents. :D

None taken.

It's probably something I inherited from my mom who would tell me stories about how when she was little in Mexico she didn't even get to go to school, (and she liked school) she had to work all day. Which consequentially made me stop complaining about going to school.

That said, breaking up a pity party with a kick in the pants is a method of support. It's probably just not the most appreciated. If I came off as an asshole, my apologies. Not my intent to antagonize.
