Try 19-20 hours.
In 08, my dad and I drove to New Mexico to visit family and all that.
Driving straight there probably took around 18ish hours, not counting the stops.
Long car rides are looooong.
I didn't sleep the entire time. XD

I drove back from Phoenix straight through, about 24 hours, with no radio.

By myself.

By the end of the trip, I was carrying on full conversations with myself.
