I know I can't just make a career out of photoshop, Madnis. I'm currently taking two classes learning how to work in other programs. (Even if I hate inDesign, I still havta use it. :/ ) The other is Adobe Premiere, as I am taking Audio/Video Techniques. Soon, I'll have classes learning Illustrator, 3DSMax, Maya and all that good stuff. I'm just making things in photoshop right now as something to pass the time, and practice with that program as well. If I don't use it, I'll lose it, etc. Also, lol. Psylo's one of my favourite folks. ♥ Him.

also, keep your eyes posted on art forums and art websites (DA = crap). most people I know use DA as an art dump simply because of all the crap that's there already. a lot of people i know hate DA with a passion.
a while back there was a site called artxilla. awesome site. too bad it's gone now. but yeah, look for stuff akin to Cgtalk, AWN, conceptart.org, gamasutra but related to your career choice. and keep your eyes posted on that stuff for tutorials, FAQ's, conventions, etc.
also, look through magazines. one of the best resources available.
