Can someone please explain to me what a try hard is? I never really understood the point of calling someone that. I was in a room and a guy called me a try hard fa***t and booted me. I'm sorry, am I not supposed to try and win or something?

I have the same problem -___- I think they use it as an excuse to boot you.

It's a Mass Effect thing.

I reckon Try Hard comes from Show Off you know. Someone who puts on an image, is "trying too hard" and not just chilling out enough. Just a guess, Americanisms confuse me, such as "I could care less". Bitch, that means the opposite of that which you're attempting to state.

You had to have played Mass Effect 3 to get it. The Illusive Man is this evil bastard with glowing blue eyes who thinks he can control the Reapers (sentient machines which are wiping out all sentient life in the galaxy, yeah cliche I know) but in the end he was just being brainwashed/manipulated by them. Shepard was the character you play as and he spends half the game trying to kill you and the other half trying to convince you he is right.


I don't know about the whole controlling evil thing, I think someone just wanted to make Romney look like a douche and I though the ME reference was kinda funny.

Here's the thing though, the guy who called me that beat me! I beat the guy before him and once he beat me he was like "Yo K0rN b4LL if you wanna try hard you better be ready to come at me bro!" And then I got the boot.
