Pressing charges might NOT be a good idea.

If you do, they know who you are and where you live.

When they get out, they might do something about it. Or their homies might do something about it.

You kicked their ass, that might be enough.
 
of course the cops are bein cool dave...the other guys were black.... ..... .... but thats good to know that you are not gonna be charged or anything. And the pressing charges is a mixed bag. For plenty of reasons including taking your own time (and time is money). Sometimes its best to just move on...but at the same time I don't know where you saw these guys, and the last thing you want is to meet these same guys on the street again in four months but this time they brought knives.... You also lucked out that the fact there were so many of them let them leave their guard down which allowed you to get out okay.

Well, hope it all ends up working out okay, and hopefully you'll never meet these fucked up people ever again.
