PSP Ad-Hoc Party...

Any of you heard this? It lets you route your PSP's wi-fi connection through a wi-fi enabled PS3 and play PSP ad-hoc games online (it's like a more official version of XLink Kai).

If you have heard of it (or are interested and have the right equipment), want to maybe try to form a community? I can help anyone get started if you're interested.

Maybe we could possibly get a community together for when Broken Destiny releases and we can play that online together (I'm not banking on infrastructure support, sadly).
 
I tried this the program about several months ago on my PS3. Even thou your PSP is working off your PS3 wirelessly; sadly, your PS3 must be wired to your network in order to work. :( Unless, is there a new update ?? :D

Not that I know of. I personally (can) use it because my PS3 is wired.

Unfortunately, not a soul using it plays Tekken:DR so I never found a use for it (everyone just plays MHF2 on it).
 
so... lets say we want to utilize something like this, how would it work? lets say for something simple like ridge racer: I want to play against someone online, how do I search for them? its only programmed for ad-hoc. will the psp automatically go out through the ps3 into the virtual world and find someone whos searching as well? what about final fantasy tactics? or tekken? can someone link me to more information if I'm asking too much? and that being said how much is a dollar worth nowadays?

about a year ago I tried to do this bizarre wi-fi connection through the psp to a wireless pcmcia card on my laptop (forgot the name of the program), and it never worked once. I wonder if this can deliver...
