PSN DOWN WTF?!1

Wait I just thought of something, Since you have to pay for XBL and your own internet does that mean if you play a game on XBL that charges you monthly like lets say...DC universe does that mean you has to pay 3 times to play online?

Being a past PS3 fanboy I've come to terms that online Xbox blows us out of the water. it may not have as solid of a fighting game community on non-western games, but the service and lag is superior. Offline it's debatable, but I do fucking hate profile switching (like omfg is that the most retarded system eve conceived). Games wise they both have good things Uncharted and Gears of War are polarizing titles...but FPS's like COD or Battlefield...should be played on a PC in the first place, so whatever one does that better is null and void( it's a retard olympics analogy). I prefer the Ps3 pad...but when you get into 3rd party peripherals, PS3 has the Split Fish to make shooters viable and xBox has those sexy as shit Razor controllers.

If i could do it again knowing what I know now I would do xBox, simply because online play occurs more despite the HUGE annoyance it is with offline fighting games.

are you sure the latency is better on 360? i mean when i try to compare PSN SCIV to XBL SCIV i dont really notice a difference.

as for the controllers, xbox for shooters, ps3 for fighters, although in my experience both are viable. the ps3 dpad though is what sets it a cut above the xbox for fighting games, and the xbox's analog stick positioning is what makes shooters feel more comfortable.

of course i've had my ps3 for 5 years, and my xbox360 is brand new. my ps3 graphics card is dying(Soul Calibur 4 tether ball fighting FTW!!!) and because of that im going to eventually be spending more time on xbox regardless of this whole psn thing simply because i need to get a job so i can save up enough money for another ps3. but in my opinion no one system is better than the other, it all just depends on what you prefer and where your friends are at(hence y i favour ps3 more, i know hardly any1 on xbox except for heaton, synraii, SL and partisan)

oh yea and the PC is better for everything. period. shooters have better aming; point and click. for fighters, i just hook up my PS3 controller to my computer. perfect. computer wins hands down simply because of its adaptability.

For me, the only difference is that I can connect to more people and I don't get disconnected during the match. The character screen seems to load up faster as well.
