well i recently bought a ps3, so that i can play games online with out having to pay.......

and well simply put iv grown really accustomed to the 360 disc style d pad, performing inputs on the ps3 controller feels sluggish to me, especially when attempting to perform QC inputs for like marvel in stuff....

so just wondering is anyone out there familiar with an brands of ps3 controllers that offers 8 way style d pad......please no pads or sticks....... thats all i ever find when im searching for 8 way d pads, that and ppl fuckin yelling at each other over which controller is better xbox or ps3............

all im looking for is a reasonably priced ps3 controller with 8 way d pad...........if anyone has any suggestions i would like to hear them(read them).

I don't think anyone in their right mind (no offense) would even think of doing such a thing, I'm a 360 player and I can't stand it at all.

Some of us do like 360 floating dpads even in tournament play.

With that said the only option I know of is to buy a new controller. Here are two that I have seen that looks promising.
Xeox controller

MadCatz Pro MLG controller

While this doesn't have a floating dpad when I asked markman about it this is what he had to say.

The stock Xbox 360 style ProModule D-Pad is not a floating D-Pad, however we do have a floating D-Pad ProModule to be made available separately.

So you can expect there to be an option to customize that controller even more than you can right now. You can also replace a 360 pads guts with a ps3 pad, or dual mod a 360 pad to work on both systems.

thanks man the xeox controller is perfect, iv been searching so hard n eventually gave up becuase all i can find is the 360 layout but the d pad is always the cross pad.......

and too korn, the reason y i perfer the floating d pad, is that it trully is superior for fighting games, espicially those with heavy z inputs(shoryuken)........... speed of inputs is important, because the floating dpad it acts like one botton allows me to input commands faster then the spaced out ps3 d pad...........
