PS3 Controller Problems.

Okay, I've been having this problem for at least an hour with my controller in which the square, triangle, etc buttons won't work.

I know how to reset and re-sync the controller to the console with one red light connected to the first available player slot, but none of the buttons work except for the d-pad.

Please help.
 
Sounds like a connection issue or the pads underneath have misaligned. Crack it open and see if anything looks weird (frayed wires, disconnected stuff, etc...). Other than that either send it in or buy a new one.
 
actually this has happened to me recently alot too! and both my pads are fine...they start locking up!
