Wow, good thread Anita!! Anywho, I was really hoping to see the pics of your various joysticks. I have taken some pics of the joysticks I have. The only one I'm missing is my VF4 joystick. I didn't feel like taking it out of the box and stuff. It's a pain to get back in.
Here's the joystick I used in days I use to compete in SC2. I also used it for the very brief time I played SC3. it's retired.
Here's a joystick I borrowed from my friend while my favorite joystick was getting modded to work on the new gen systems. It's exactly like yours, Anita. It sucks just as bad too. It deserves a spot on the Wall Of Shame.
Here's one I have for the 360. I had to use this one as well while my favorite joystick was being upgraded. It's just as crappy except this one has a unique flaw. I can press the B button once and it will press twice everytime. This really made it quite useless as I wasn't able to do moves that required you to hold this button down. Like Ultras in SF4, and Voldos CH 66A+B to get your opponent to do the back spin which then gives you an extra 40 damage on it. Wall of Shame!
Here's my favorite joystick in the world! I use it for every fighting game. It's actually a MAS joystick I've had since 2000 that my BFF GODSPU modded for free. I asked him to put on some specific art, and make it work for the PS3 and 360. Since he's my BFF he decided to also make it work for PS2 as well. All Free of charge. The art is Orions Nebula. A place where stars are born. I love it.
