Also lol at how little love gen V got.

I actually don't mind gen V as much as I thought I would, the pretty effects and fairly decent storyline in comparison to the last two entries was refreshing, but it just didn't feel like a true Pokemon game. There was something a little odd about it, probably some of the lackluster designs like Durant and Beartic spoiled it a little.

The fully animated battles were very welcome though, it gave the fights some more life instead of looking at one static frame.

I take it Gamefreak still haven't learned how to make a tolerable looking playable character. What I wouldn't give for some more choice/customisation, I found even in the first and second gens that I loved the look of some of the other trainers more than my own character.

Pokemon used to be my life, lol.

I wish they make a remake of Leaf Green/Fire Red and Ruby/Sapphire. But the only thing they edited was character and pokemon animations, better contests, etc.

I loved the music in those games.

The Pokemon Center theme, every time, who knew such a choppy 8-bit loop could bring a nostalgic tear to this man's eye.
