the lad speaks the truth. I wouldn't be me if i didn't come off like an ass. but do i actually think i'm better than him? no. I don't. having said that,the image speaks for itself, and i'm speaking only on the image. what that image says to me.. in reality, is exactly what you quoted. "pretty lights, pretty picture. you get thumbs up for playing with photoshop." that's literally what your picture says to me. that's not to say it's bad. just.. amatuerish.
but artist rule of thumb. NEVER compare yourself to other artists. even though we do it all the time... it's tragic really.

I do stick art for friends most of the time.
I used to do a lot of photo editing back when I used myspace and signature/avatar making when I used to go to DOAC. Because their height and length limit was a lot more better then here. :P

But now a days,i'm not as active with photoshop as I used to be.
Unless someone wants me to do them a stick art.
