PffttHAHAHAHA- New Kinnukuman Arcade Game

Well back when Kinnikuman Muscle Grand Pri Max came to consoles, I got it 2 months before it came out... so if Grand Pri 2 Max, ever comes to consoles; you'll probably be able to find that one early too. These games are actually lots of fun.
Lol apparently not as the game has been out for a few months now

and I dunno I like the game

I'm a kinnikuman fan and it's basically an Aki wrestler with arcade inputs, so I enjoy the fuck out of it

I don't really see what so PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT funny about that it's actually alot of fun, if you know, you play it before forming opinions

Kohatsu had a few tournaments for it and formed a tier list, but interest pretty much died for it after a few months.(like most arcade games based on anime properties) it had a pretty good run though for what it was though

but it says "Media: DVD-Rom" and I have no idea if that means it was released, like, for the CPU or what, lol.

oh boy...........

anyways unlike the first one which added a shitload of characters on the console version and had those voiced cinematics, this one is a straight arcade port. But they addressed alot of the gameplay flaws in the previous game in MAX2 so this is definitely the better game if you play people.

and it has Big the fucking Budo

Plan on playing this more once I get my HRAP2SA. I can't pull alot of shit off on a pad

If you mean barnes and noble then yeah

sucks but can't say I'm surprised. or even mad

I think I'm getting 2 of the PS3 ones anyways

Awesome, curious to hear the tier listing/why certain characters are where they are. What is the control scheme? How do parries/throw breaks work? And the bouncing off the ropes looks like it guarantees stuff?

I'm really interested in knowing more :)

S Akuma Shogun, Mountain, Super Phoenix
A+ Ashuraman, Snigator, Springman, Check Mate, Ramenman, Warsman, Soldier, Sunshine
A Blocken Jr, Zebra, Mantaro, Pentagon, Barrierfreeman, Kevin, Junkman, Robin, Ilioukhine, Mr. Carmen
B+ Geronimo, Terry the Kid, Neptuneman, Mariposa, Jade, Terryman, Kinnikuman, Blackhole, Buffaloman
B Bigbody, Stecasseking, Wolfman, Big the Budo, Scarface, Benkiman
C Ninja, Atlantis, Planetman

That was the initial one

SS: Ashuraman, Super Phoenix, Mountain
S: Ramenman, Springman, Akuma Shogun
A: Junkman, Blocken Jr, Checkmate, Soldier, Snigator, Barrierfreeman
B: Sunshine, Terryman, Warsman, Zebra, Mariposa, Mantaro, Pentagon, Blackhole, Kevin, Mr. Carmen, Robin
C: Kinnikuman, Bigbody, Jade, Illioukhine, Benkiman, Buffaloman
D: Big the Budo, Atlantis, Wolfman, Terry the Kid, Stecasseking
E: Ninja, Neptuneman, Scarface, Planetman

and that was the later version

And the bouncing off the ropes looks like it guarantees stuff?

it does in some cases. but timing is pretty strict and requires specific positioning

I think some dudes had irish whip rope infinites in the first one, but to my knowledge those are gone in MGP2

Here's Festival6667's basic write up off SRK(and myself mistaking him for a girl, lol)

Should pretty thoroughly explain controls and basic mechanics
