All of which are equally scary.

Oh really? I was perfectly fine and so was everyone when you weren't in this topic. Look back at this page to see yourself, Norik.

http://8wayrun.com/threads/pc-vs-consoles.16943/page-3#post-640049

Clearly you're just an aggressive douche. I made a simple comment and you freaked out with 4 paragraphs insulting console gamers. Any bent up anger their Norik?

Past contradictions? LMFAO!!! Are you just repeating yourself like an idiot now to posts I already responded to? Hey Norik, here's a little flash from the past... Look on page 4 buddy...

I was fine with the XB1 and Microsoft's decision, because I buy new games 90% of the time. My point is this board complained non-stop about "DRM won't let me rent or buy used games!" and "DRM forces me to sign in once per 24 hours! Omg!" and "DRM is corporate greed in the making!" In PC gaming, they get all of that! This board had a massive issue with DRM, so according to that logic, they should all be bashing the hell out of PC gaming.

^ Look familiar? Or do you have poor memory? Whichever the case, if anyone here is a troll it's you. How stupid do you got to be to own a console and call other people retarded for playing on consoles? How stupid? That's an actual question... I want to know what a hypocrite can say, perhaps "Hey Ishimaru! Well... PC gaming is better but... I don't play on PC because... well... Uhh... It's just better!"

Whichever the case, you bought a f***ing console over a PC and you're in a topic insulting people for buying consoles. How f**king retarded does that make someone look? Pretty retarded, but that's just you... after all.

Lol, how pretentious is this?
Well when you don't have your facts right but aren't man enough to admit it, its easy to mistake people correcting you as being "pretentious". Or, on the other hand, you could be trying to gain sympathy from bystanders, but I wouldn't hold my breath for some internet white-knight.
I said my friend is selling a PC for $2,400, and you didn't even debate that, you just insulted one of the specs that you could buy a RAM upgrade for $300.
Who brought up 32 gigs of ram in an failed attempt to impress? It was you. I even specifically mentioned that I'm breaking down the math of such a claim so I am trying to debate that.
Again, nobody cares, you still need to "install" it. .
Secondly, if nobody cares about the rest of the component then why on earth did you bring it up ?

Its silly that you think I brought up the market value of 32 gigs of ram specifically to insult you. I brought it up because there is hard data that you can easily look up to verify if the price is really worth it.
Speaking of insults, you missed a lot of cleverly hidden ones but explaining them to you kind of ruins it.

$300 for a top of the line piece of hard ware when you could just buy a whole PS4 for $100 more? What the hell point are you trying to disprove? Lol!
You brought it up, not me. I'm challenging how you came to $2,400 in the first place. If you think there is anything else that matters, then you are wrong. In fact, it was obvious I was specifically debating $2,400 and you are not even aware of what I am challenging you on.

It makes no sense to bring up your pal "chris" and his $2,400 PC system unless you want people to think you actually know about higher end PC components (which you do not) or that you want to discredit PC systems by being too pricey (which was disproven by that you couldd save significantly when building your own). You specifically put a value on the PC, and obviously you should have either backed it up or not have brought it up at all.

Really? A blanket quote without any components. You can do better than that. I actually dont' even think you read the CONTEXT of the your links and you are just sniffing around for quotes. If you are just googling "gaming computer builds $1,500" please stop. You even posted right underneath a forum thread (from an MMO forum) that gave many different gaming builds from $376 upwards. Heck, you are contradicting yourself. Its either $376 upwards or $1,500 upwards.

I'm looking at your link and the cheapest "budget" (I have no idea why you have to put it in quotes) is as follows:

Extreme Budget Gaming 370
MoBo: MSI B75MA-P33$49.99
CPU: Intel Celeron G1610$49.99
RAM: G.Skill 1333MHz 2x2GB$35.99
GPU: Sapphire Radeon 7770 GHz$104.99
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 500GB$59.99
PSU: Antec VP-450W$39.99 Review
Case: Antec VSK-4000$34.99
--------------------------------------------------
Estimated Total Price – $376

^ Notice all the "budget" builds are under $1,000?
Yeah the least expensive budget build is under $377 dollars. What is your point ? I don't know why you chose to use $1,000 as some arbitrary cut-off, but you are hiding the fact that your own link has a budget build for almost a 3rd of $1,000.

All the good ones like a Intel i7 4770k cost around a little less than a stand-alone PS4? That's not factual? It has a goddamn price tag next to it, read it please.
Arn't you the one to have said that having top-line PC parts don't matter?
Your whole rambling earlier was that you didn't even need top-line parts to play and that the games were the most important reason why one should pick a particular console over another, and yet you start mouthing off about i7. You don't really have a point.
Just to help you out, a PC consists of more than just a cpu. If you are comparing a top end cpu to a PS4, then this highlights that you are getting simple PC concepts confused.

Nobody gives a shit if you can "build" one yourself for $600 and not play Soul Calibur, or get into minor price specs.
You're acting like you do though.
That's having a nerdgasm.
No, thats not a nerdgasm either. Look it up, there's simple memes that i'm sure even you can understand. If you're going to make grade-school level insults, at least make sure the context is correct please.

>:P You, Slade, and Norik all play on console games, so this is probably the most retarded "discussion" I've ever seen. It's like Console gamer insults console gamer for not having a gaming PC.
I won't speak for Slade and Norik because they are holding their own fine here.

But, please quote me when I said console systems were not good. Please go ahead, since you seem to be so talented at looking up things online. Otherwise, stop imagining things. I specifically posted in this thread to point out how much of an ill-informed individual you are, but not because I dislike console systems. I strive not to be a hypocrite in my conduct and I would appreciate that you do not as well.
All of my correspondence between me and yourself is not "PC vs Console", but "Ishimaru Jinrai vs Facts". I believe in Facts and will fight on its behalf.

I'm giving you one "out." I don't even need you to apologize. If you stop posting in an antagonizing manner, I'll stop pointing them out.

Nope, 100% wrong, you need to read harder. People talk about how much better gaming PCs are over consoles, but they fail to mention most of those PCs were using top of the line specs, which are fine. But I'm going to point out on average how much the latest PC components cost. Because cost effective, you'll see consoles are just an overall smarter investment.

I already said (now make sure you read closely, I don't want you to miss this kiddo!)

If you want to get your PC's full capacity, you'll need to buy the latest specs, which often cost a lot. If you're buying a PC that cost about $400 to build, it's either a low-en budget PC, or it's crap.

Have I ever said that NOT having good PC components was a good option? No, so you obviously need to read harder. You're competing against an XB1 and PS4, which both have -

- Both come completely assembled.

- Both don't need to be opened up and upgraded periodically.

- They are both competitively priced to undercut gaming PCs. High end PC components by themselves cost about half as much as a PS4.

- NOBODY CARES ABOUT $300 BUDGET PCs! Got it though your brain? Ishimaru doesn't like them, I don't want other people to have them. So stop using them as an example for the sole purpose of comparing price. They suck.

- Gaming PCs have greater potential over consoles, because you can optimize and upgrade the hell out of them. But comparing them to next-gen consoles, you're going to need to drop about $1,000 on some top grade hard ware. If you disagree then I don't want to see you get an XB1 or a PS4, go buy a gaming PC instead, making a Youtube video building it, and stay on it. I've always said a gaming PC can have much, much better graphics and FPS over a home console device. I've never denied that.

Most likely you'll just buy a PS4 or XB1 in November of this year because you know PC is a big f**king hassle anyways. If you do buy a PS4 or XB1 in November, then congrats, I proved my point.

They can probably run games ok if your criteria of fun doesn't rest on having top-line performance. Sound familiar?

...snip...
See, it is not so hard to post without wording your posts that piss people off.

Wuht, if you own a console, that means you've probably purchased it for one of the reasons I've listen, either for exclusive games, a bigger online community, or just for simplicity.

Oh good, so you're not even defending gaming PCs in all their faults, you're just simply here to argue price ranges with me. Ok, gotcha. xD
