P90X results: This stuff really works

I have no room for p90x so I'm thinking of taking up Muay Thai to get in shape but money is tight...
Are you talking about Cardio Kick boxing?? Cause strictly Muay Thai wont get you results half as fast P90X or Insanity. Its not meant to be a weight lose activity.

And ya Ring thats what I figured. Im kinda scared to try it for that reason. My metabolism is already pretty fast and I have pretty low body fat so I think it will have the opposite effect of what I want. If I dont the feel results soon into it ill just go back to normal lifting I guess :$

Well I don't need to get into P90x shape, I just want to get fit and I do enjoy martial arts so I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

I guess its a good idea then :). I love it. I have done Martial arts all my life, Muay Thai for the last like 6-7 years, and If you dont mind getting beat up ( You learn to like it no joke) you'll love it too. Its IMO the most effective fighting style there is, and its a hell of a workout.
 
I'd suggest you to either get really ripped now with Insanity and then clean bulk or do heavy lifting now and eat a lot to gain mass (with fat in the process) and then cut, preferably with Insanity. It's really difficult to gain muscle and stay at low body fat at the same time, in fact only few people can do it w/o steroids. It can take ages and be discouraging.

You will definitely lose fat, not sure about muscle though. Insanity is mostly cardio so I wouldn't expect much muscle gains. P90x is better at this, but insanity is def better when it comes to fat loss imo ;)



I think Insanity is at least twice as intense as P90X's Plyometrics. I have a lot of trouble with the longer versions of the workouts for month 2. They are too much for my legs, you really need to be super fit to complete them like they do in a video. I can't do that without modifying some exercises.

Damn, I look forward to incoperating that into my cardio days then, maybe mix them up depending on how I feel. I dunno if I could do hell month with insanity, tbat would mean cardio x on top of insanity's crazy routines. That would be a handful!
