OnLive: Games on Demand

http://www.onlive.com/index.html

Browsing around one of the many L4D fansites I visit, I came across this and thought I'd post it up. Apperantly, they are having a beta test of this in the summer. Needless to say, I figured I'd give it a shot so I signed up.

Right now, nothing revealed about the pricing but Im pretty sure, like everything in this day and age. There will most likely be a monthly fee of some kind, but Im willing to give this a shot.

Maybe this shit won't Red Ring.

Sounds like... I dunno...

GameTap...
The Phantom...
XBL...
PSN...
WiiWare...

With companies like Comcast limiting bandwidth, this thing will be dead out of the gates.

RIP Playstation Nintendo etc

Yo, Jaxel! Let some people have their own opinions, mang! This is a harmless topic. Damn pedophile...

I think the OnLive service will be awesome.

There may be a few flaws like concerns on bandwidth limits and the such; but this is nothing like Gametap. It's much better, and supporting services (like ISPs) will adapt, one way or another. If the price is right, and the performance is 3/4th of what it brags, it will definately put consoles in one hell of poor position.

I personally think it would be outrageously awesome to have a 5hr+ battery travel laptop w/ a 3.5G+ connection with this service; esp if it has HDMI out like my current notebook. Talkin' about some awesome business trips! Finally no more bored-in-the-hotel-room looking-for-easy-women - well, at least not as much!

I'm definately going to nag them to beta test.

I'd like to talk about this upcoming service with others interested... so plz don't lock :D
