Moé doesnt make sense anyways...
The letter é signifies an "aye" (fonzie) sound. Like "Poke-aye-mon"... Moe is not pronounced "moe-aye", its pronounced "moe-eh".
Most people don't pronounce é as a very hard "aye" sound except for people with very heavy American accents. It's somewhere in the middle of "eh" and "aye". This includes the word Pokemon, which sounds really retarded when you pronounce it Poke-aye-mon. Especially since its derived from "pocket." There is no real corresponding sound for é in English because it isn't a sound that is in common use. The same falls for transliterating Japanese, where "e" is a very specific sound not necessarily corresponding to the sound in English.
But whatever, I'll just leave it as an issue of preferences. I just like the distinction because in written english, oe is generally pronounced "oh" while in transliterated Japanese, it is always referring to おえ. This is just a pet peeve of mine, because when I am reading something in English, I generally read it as if it were in English. I'm not saying I read moe as Moe even when it's clear that its referring to moé. I'm just saying I think it looks ugly and I don't like it.
