Well in some cases it's well worth it to say mangaka over author. Take Romeo x Juliet. If we say author one may think William himself while saying mangaka would imply the manga specifically.
That and most mangaka are both the author and illustrator of the story, so making it a single word is useful.

Well that asides, why use the Japanese words for titles?

I'm just curious why people insist on using the Japanese words for the title. It strikes me as, and no offense here, minorly pretentious. Like using the word mangaka when author would suffice or sommelier when when you could just say "wine expert".

Oh, is there an English dub of it? I really prefer English but I've found very minimal regarding it even having an English title. I'm not big on manga(nor hardcore enough of a weeaboo to prefer subs obviously) and I haven't seen anything about a full localization on it. Yeahyeahyeah, the idiot box and all, but comics are just a middle ground I'm not a fan of(to me they lack the abstract interpretive options of the written word and the concrete expression provided by animation so it's a poor compromise for me). And yes, I used the words "manga" and "comics" to refer to the same thing within a single paragraph.

And though it's not the case here, it could also be individual preference. "It just has a better ring to it." Or something like that. To be honest, I'm more annoyed by concepts with no clear English equivalent I'm aware of since it makes choosing a prefered term impossible. Like...seppuku(blame Yoshimitsu for being the reason that's the only one that comes to my mind). It's definitely more than just suicide and more than shredding ones own bowels, but there's no real English equivalent.

Thanks for the answers Wandarian. I know what you mean by concepts with no clear english equivalent. I was told once by a native japanese speaker that the word nakama is something close to "Adopted family". As the product of a clan-based society this word makes sense, we however have no equivalent, and most of the time I see it translated simply as "friend". Which is not quite accurate really.

As for an English Dub? I don't know if there's one yet, though the series has been licensed and has a translated title already:
