sorry. i kinda over examine everything i watch. i should really be a critique or at least a reviewer. the random-over-the-top fan service in HoTD kept distracting me from what was really going on.

"oh wow. their surrounded by Zombies! how are they gonna-" boob shot. <_<
"Oookay. Well, that girl seems to be good with that wooden sword so she can hold her ow-" Panty shot. >_>

don't even get me started on that sniper scene like in episode 3 or 4. i literally facepalmed. i can't watch it because of the ridiculousness in it. i read through a good chunk of the manga cause it wasn't as bad as the anime. it was... bearable.

Which is why you can be neither lol, the sniper scene was a lesson in animation quality few shows have ever done lol. Sure that doesn't make it good, but it was still good lol.
That's what the show was, at no time was this show a survival horror show. Just because it has zombies and is leading to the apocalypse doesn't mean it's a serious show at all.

hey animefreak, is there any word of a second season of HoTD, I've read the manga as well, but I haven't seen any updates or anything.

No..... there was gonna be a movie but haven't heard anything more on that either. I think it's cancelled yo.

Well i need some ideas on something new to watch... Right now, im still watching Detective Conan. Fairy Tail, One Piece and Hunter x hunter but thats really it. And since DCTP has been told to stop subbing Detective Conan, that is becoming very hard to find.

Need some new ideas. Im willing to take a shot at anything really..

my anime Nichijou does that infinitely better with 3D and slow mo effects better than batter DDDs around in an unrealistically tight school uniform shirt. :P

Except Nichijou is equally unrealistic? Can't complain about one thing and let it go for another.

well Nichijou was a comedy/slice of life anime. it was meant to be the way it was.
