I think this threads problem is all the negativity, if someone posts that they like an anime that I don't really like why the fuck would I make a point of telling them the anime they like is bad or that I know 'better' ones as if this isn't opinion based.

you mad bro? dang. calm down. you attacked my anime and i defended it. we're even. Lain and Boogiepop have some similarities so i'm sorry i assumed that you didn't like Lain. but you didn't need to take it so personally. we're all adults here i assume or at least mature so let's talk like mature people.
You don't make assumptions on what other people think on completely different subjects by what they say about another. You're making bad connections in your mind that shouldn't even come as a thought yet because nobody has said anything about what you're thinking about.

Not to mention you didn't defend jack, you've said the same 4 things over and over. And me NOT liking LAIN was kind of your whole basis for it, which of course is shattered because i do like it. I mean geez, you need to start thinking BEFORE you start thinking. Inception your thoughts, dive deep into your head before actually saying anything, and hopefully you stop over-thinking things.

@Ace, this negativity came from him straight asking the thread if anyone has heard of Boogie. He literally asked for it. I've heard of it, seen it and now talking about it. Which nobody else did, it would've been rude to leave that question hanging if i knew something.

Also I want to draw a picture of Yoh from Shaman King and Yusuke from Yu Yu doing the Fusion Dance and than out pops Ichigo from Bleach.
Because Bleach is literally those two shows merged together.

For me it's rough. I enjoy story telling...so for that reason I can watch a black and white french movie, to a Korean drama.

And the problem I have with Japan as a whole, from their mangas, games, dramas, and especially anime. They don't like to take risks. They always play things safe and stay in their comfort zones. It's a cultural thing and it's annoying. That's why a lot of the manga/anime you watch have this little annoying thing called a "childhood friend." (hate those) It shows that this writer absolutely has no interesting in developing a relationship...and it's straight up lazy.

I can't stand that. So you know since I am not an animefreak, it was pretty easy to drop anime. Know I still enjoy One piece, and still follow Naruto....(I have been invested since high school). Bleach on the other hand I dropped like a bad habit.

But that's just the shonen stuff. It's simple and you know what to expect. The most disappointing type of anime for me, is the so called plot/story driven ones with romance/comedy/horror whatever. This is where I lose it. Like straight up anger, I hate the cliches. Because for these unlike shonen I came into it with high expectations, only to be let down.
