Not new, but still making my first introduction. ^^

Oh-hai, everyone. I will first start out by apologizing for how long this is. Either way, I've been playing the series for quite some time, and always loved it, just never took the time to be active on here and all. I'm a member of the community on the 360 version of SCIV and SCV. In SCIV I will admit I didn't learn many characters because I was having troubles adjusting to the characters I wanted to use in that installment, mostly, but still loved it. In SCV, I use all characters in the game, except for 2, so I can commonly be referred to as an Edge Master/Elysium/Kilik player, though I am taking forever to get them into my top 3 usage percentages, currently. I'd love to meet more players, have more opponents, and hopefully make some friends. I don't spam unless by accident on an EXTREMELY off day, and I also hate grabs, so I don't tend to use them unless I'm using Astaroth, or a grab that requires some other type of command with it, like Calamity Symphony for example, and I will do everything I can to avoid winning by ring-out, for numerous reasons. Also, for any newer players interested, I'm more than willing to help teach any character I know how to use well enough, and will do my best with helping anyone I can. Well, thank you to anyone who reads this, and I'd love to get into a match at any time with anyone interested, and if you're another experienced player, with similar standards, I hope I can give you an entertaining match, and hope for the same from you. Thank you all, and that's all I really can say to introduce myself for now. ^^

First things first comrade, don't be afraid to spam what works. If you hate ring-outs, grabs, etc because it's dishonorable, you're discouraging yourself on how this game is supposed to be played. Trust me, certain people had to learn the hard way when they don't heed this advice to get better.

Scenario: You have a sliver of health and your back is to the edge with Nightmare. The Natsu will kill you and has more health. Do you try to fight honorably and lose? Or will you use B+G or 2B+G to ring her out?

The gist is do whatever it takes to win. Your opponent not stopping your spam? Don't let up. Will it annoy them? Yes, but you're not telling them I am a jerk doing this. That aside, welcome and hope to see you around.

I've faced and won a situation like that before. Simple, given I've learned Natsu, which helps in knowing how to fight her better than without. I don't get any kind of entertainment from the sad and boring show of someone not knowing combos with a character, which is what spam and grabs together, spam primarilly, scream. Sorry if that seems odd, but I just rather actually see someone win while showing they've put time into learning a character and got good enough to win with them. It's not because it's dishonorable, just boring, and shows no skill, and I'm keeping that way. I actually beat people that do that just fine, without doing so. Well, except in the case of 3 characters in specific, that I won't name, to avoid offending anyone. Either way, getting off of that subject, thank you for the welcome, and I hope to contribute to the community however I can.

You're seriously just handicapping yourself by doing this, either way welcome to the forums.
