Anyone who went to Toronto arcades during the late 90s and 2000s would have run into this Asian dude who only had one full arm. He didn't play any fighting games, but he was really good at puzzle games, and could beat X-men Arcade in 1 or 2 credits. With one hand. He's awesome.
All the downtown arcades are closed now, but I see him now and then at Net Effect. He plays Command and Conquer and such, mouse only.
I also knew a deaf Quake player, who always made me feel weird for playing with no sound, and the people who used it as an excuse.
