Firstly, hi to everyone in the community.
I'm here transitioning from 2D fighters to the 3D world and like the unique look and flow of SCV...so far to the point that I am very interested in making this my main game.
I've not played the series before, so know i have some transitioning to do, but from watching some streams of the top players it looks like competition is fierce and the game varied and fun.
As a new player I have a few questions I'd appreciate feedback on:
- With the transition I want to make from SF4 to SCV, what tips would people give about learning the game?
- Secondly, would plaing SCIV be helpful in the next few weeks as a warm up and intro to general mechanics of the series, combo flow, movement, attack and defence basics? Or is the new game too different to make this worthwhile?
- what other resources aside from this site are there for aspiring new players to learn as much as they can about the upcoming game and series in general?
Thanks in advance and look forward to mixing it with people here on the forums and of course with the game.
