I'm new to the 8wayrun community, I'm not a veteran SC player by any means. I'm rather young, aged 17. My first game was SCV. So anything outside the realm of SCV is beyond my knowledge. However, I have a decent amount of knowledge about the game, ranging from Tech Traps to Frame data. I have very little online experience due to the fact that I live in Australia, and have a wireless connection. I can't really seem to get a match that isn't a 1bar connection. I do have real life friends to play with though, even if they don't know the game as in depth as I do. But it still shows that I have experience vs Humans.
I love playing to win, to thrash my opponent with unpredictable mix ups and amazing combo's! But it's not worth winning if I don't have fun while doing it. I don't troll. tease. trash talk or humiliate. If someone tells me I'm a scrub. I take it. If Misturugi spams 1B and wins, It's my fault for losing and his rights that he won. If he sidesteps a horizontal, I blame myself not the game. Controller dies so I die? I should have charged it so that wouldn't. Someone overkill's my dead body with 2K's, taunts and tea bagging? I let it happen, and do NOT do the same thing back. You get the point now. Even though it's recommended. I don't like make my opponent salty, and I don't like getting salty myself. No one likes it. If I win, I want to win against the best possible version of my opponent. If I lose? It's because I wasn't my best version OR I just didn't do as well. In fighting games, I don't think ANYONE is better than ANYONE else. We're all equal skill level. No matter how FT5's you do with someone, I think they're both of equal skill. Luck doesn't exist in this game (Besides Clean hits and Dampierre) so I never consider myself lucky if I win.
This is my attitude when I approach this game, and pretty much how I approach life. I don't believe in wrongs. Only rights. Wrongs can be thrown away, while something right will last forever.
I've kinda gone off topic. This was supposed to be me being polite with a friendly hello~ So here I go.
