New Player to SCV and Fighters in General

Why hello there 8wayrun. New player here.

As it's stated in my title post, I'm a relatively new player to traditional fighters, with my only experience in the genre beforehand being Super Smash Bros. and the occasional asskicking in a arcade game with my fighter buff friend.

At the moment, I'm currently using AlphaPat as my main and Pyrrha Omega and Ezio as my secondaries. But I'm really not sure if I should be spending time with AlphaPat at the moment due to the whole "I'm a new player" kinda deal.

Heh, I'm not sure either. Unless you're able to settle for really basic style he'll probably be a big distraction from picking up solid fundamentals, but if you love the idea of playing him just run with it.
