Hey guys im new to this site and thought it was pretty cool. I have been playing soul calibur ever since sc2 but i have played in about almost 2 years and im about to get sc5 soon.
I have a quick question , i was watching a match of dampierre vs astaroth and the commentator was mentioning just inputs and i'd like to know what those are. thanks

Hey there! Welcome to 8way run! Just inputs are when you input certain moves EXACTLY right and it becomes a slightly better version! A good example is Cervantes iGDR also known as 214:B. (If you do not understand terminology I can direct you to something that will teach you it).Your character will flash white when you perform a just frame. If you need any help with the site or anything in general just pm me or post on my profile haha. Enjoy! EDIT: Here is a page for basic terminology! http://8wayrun.com/threads/soulcalibur-v-basic-notations-terminology.12553/

thanks! but another question, for the numerical conventions does 1 2 3 refer to any of those directional arrows or are the numbers specific to a certain direction

1 would be down left. 2 would be down neutral and 3 would be down forward :D they are to a certain direction
