NES Battletoads

One of the most frustrating games ever made and today it just shows some bad game design. Tradewest can suck a big one for Battletoads. Double Dragon is a different story.

I thought rare made the game and it was puplished by tradewest...

i had Combat frogs back in the day and i always died on the 3rd stage with the speederbike. I only got past it once...The only person I know that has ever beaten that game with no problem my friends brother hwo is probably the biggist dork anyone here will ever meet. I mean, this kid doesn't bathe, or leave his house or even speak to people...and he is in his mid 20s!...but he can ebat battletoads like a mofo and he's beaten disgea on like 100% multiple times

Section Z, Ninja Gaiden 3, and Chakan the Forever Man are all epic-tier hard games.

I heard Gamestop has Battletoads, call them up and ask for a copy.

All the NES Ninja Gaiden games were just memorization.

And Bart vs. the Space Mutants? Really? I legitimately beat that game forever ago, which I never managed with Battletoads. There IS a very hard Simpsons game, though...Bart's Nightmare.

Also, a top-tier difficulty NES game you've never heard of: Holy Diver. Only released in Japan, and if you're wondering what's up with the title...yes, you play as Ronnie James Dio (in the year 666, yes this is the actual plot), and he happens to look an awful lot like Simon Belmont. Was an awesome game on multiple levels, but it's up there with Battletoads in frustration. Apparently there was a preview of this in Nintendo Power or some other magazine, but the US release was canceled. =/

My friend tried playing this game recently on some flash-based NES emulation site, and he actually called and told me about it.....and it was hard as hell he said. :D
