My latest custom.

Thanks, Godspu, Outty.
I left the triggers and just wired the bumpers, which didn't need a resistor as they're not analog. Your best bet of finding one for the job will probably be radio shack or whatever, though.

Thanks for the comments, lads.
Doc, I've edited the 1st post with a pic of the insides. It's not the neatest of jobs, but it works fine. No matter how good my intentions are when I start a stick I can just never seem to keep the innards tidy. I need more practice, I think.

What pad(s) are you using, Dave?

from what I read from everybody. The madkatz that you used. This is my first time ever making anything like this. Im more acustomed to fixing cars. Electronics are fuck hard for me. I just want to get the damn thing funtional. Learn from my mistakes. then make another one in hopes it will be better!

I melted a wireless pad during training... lol
It's been rendered useless, but the knowledge gained gave me the skills required to solder up a pad to my old X-arcade stick. Now I can play SF4 on a pretty decent happ style stick, until my jap parts arrive :)

Yeah, Dave, the first stick I ever made was my first crack at anything electronics based. I managed alright, though, so you probably will too. I work in signmaking on a CnC router, so the actual case making is the part of the job I'm more accustomed to doing.

My first ever stick was a big, ugly behemoth of a thing, but it lasted me nearly 2 years and, apart from being a little on the slack side, still worked perfectly.

so I was inspired last night to get back to making that stick. I put it of for a few days cause I was just frustrated.

Im happy to report I now have a functional A B and start button!!!! WOOOOO HOOOOO. So now that I know how the wiring stuff basiclly works. Im gonna start on the case for it.
