Actually, no Johnny Cage is BS. :p Actually, MK vs. DC isn't really that bad. It is a hell of a lot better than Armageddon. First thinks first, graphiclly the game looks beautiful. For gameplay, no more styles like the six generation games. It almost like playing an actually 3d fighter with MK perks to go with it (Old school uppercut). :D
The complaints i have for this game thou is that the game is just too short. While six gen MK games had there own Konquest mode, all MK vs DC has is Story Mode and there own Trial Mode. The only unlockable characters (Darkseid and Shao Kahn) are only unlocked after playing story mode. Trial mode only gets you trophies (Big whoop >:( ). Grant it, I have nothing against Trial mode, but only 2 unlockable characters ?! No wonder Midway filed Chapter 11. :p
All in all I'd reccomend it as a rent or a cheap buy. The Kollector's Edition only comes with a comic book, maybe even a DVD with behind the scenes and false promises. :p Don't be one of those people (like myself :p) that payed $60 for this game. Its mostly worth half. :D

I played MKII again on the PS2..Now I know why I get turn off at this game
