I still play all of the ones before 4 to this day. :D As for the ones for sixth generation games (PS2, GC, X-box), i'd have to say that Deception had the most potential. DA was just hard to get used too whether it be story wise, or gameplay wise (too many styles, no old school uppercut, no pit fatalites, WTF was the point of killing off Liu Kang ! He was the Ryu of Mortal Kombat.) Also, some moves were incomplete (Quan Chi's Fatality anyone ?).
Deception brought back the retro style that we all know and love. The game mechanics were easier to get used to (two fight styles), more fatalities including stage fatalities were back with avengance, and Konquest mode was sooo awesome !! It had alot of mystery and keeps you occupied for a while like the good old days (at least until you unlocked Liu Kang's Alternate costume. :p).
Im not even gonna get into how bad Armageddon was or ill get into a bigger rant. :p Lets just say its a good thing i got this game for free (EB Games forgot to charge me the day i picked it up. :D). And the only reason i got the game was so i can play UMK3. MK vs. DC definitlly made up for Armageddon. XD. My only complaint (Besides the fact that we aren't getting DLC) is that the game is too short and if you can get it cheaper than $60, seriously do so because it feels like a $30 game. But since i got SF4, i havent played this game since. :D
P.S. How is MKT for Saturn ? Does it still load while morphing with Shang Tsung ? Did they fix the music to play correctly ? Did they fix the one button fatality ?
