Macro Buttons are cheap

2-for-1 button presses is what i mean.

it's cheap.

remapping, say L2 = second G button is fine. you still have to press that button and get only one input.

So if i use a pad. Having 2 sets of each k b a and g would be ok with you but no macro button binding? Thats stupid as hell I could just press square and L2 for example and it would be A+B. Why not just have L2 as A+B? what difference does it make?

Its not cheap at all its like people using stick. It helps them do moves that is really hard to do on pad. Besides if you don't remap buttons then L1 and R1 are essentially useless buttons that take up space.
