Looking for a good and cheap alternative for x360 pads

Can someone advice me through this? You guys know x360 dpads sucks for fighting games, so I'm looking for alternatives. I'm going to buy two so it must not so expensive.

And then find a PS1 pad or a PS2 pad. Should come out to around $45 each. Well, except that you need a wired 360 controller or stick for each adapter to work. If you already own them it doesn't add to the price.

You can't use a headset with it, but since you're buying two of them it's not that big of a deal.

I have two ps2 pads. But I don't get it, why do I have to need wired 360 controllers?

Because the adapter uses the wired 360 controller to "trick" your Xbox into thinking your using certified Xbox products while you're using your Ps2 controller. It's the only explanation I've ever heard about it, I was looking into it but bought a fighting pad instead.
