Laser Eye Sergery

I think your chances are better than a coin toss as far risks of getting fucked up go. I don't remember where I read, but there's only a few (less than 5%) percent of people who have something go wrong. I haven't done it yet, but my bro has and my wife is actually getting it done today. So we've read up on it.

They say go with someone that's done at least over 500 procedures.

while this really isn't anything logical to base it on, i know of two people personally who have had the procedure done and they are both happy with the results. definitely choose an experienced doctor and dont skimp on the money... you tend to get what you pay for.

See the thing was all the stuff i was talking about was when I was thinking about it 8 years ago and at the time, it was still a fairly new procedure. Since then, I am sure that a lot of people have had it done with great results as others have stated so far. My thing is that I still do not fully trust it is all.

I had it done last year went from -11 in both eyes to -.25 in the left and -.75 in the right. It was pretty quick too, the whole thing lasted < 15 minutes and basically after all the eye drops and stuff I was pretty much able to see after I got out of the chair. I gotta say though it was expensive as hell and would not have done it had my insurance not covered a majority of the cost. Also if you have the option of doing so get the procedure where they make the incision with a separate laser, normally incisions are done with a blade but man I don't feel comfortable with anything sharp that close to my eye.
