King Of Fighters Thread

I though the roster was complete because there are no empty spaces on the official site, but I saw Elizabeth in some of the promotional artwork early on. She HAS to be in it, she's Ash's rival. Either she'll be shown later, or she's gonna be a boss character.
 
They've narrowed the release date down from "summer" to "July." Looks like this and BlazBlue might be competing with each other on store shelves.

It was really really early artwork

I honestly wouldn't count on it but hey anything can happen
 
I'm kind of surprised (or is it disappointed) to see series regulars like Mai, Joe and King left out of the mix in KOF XII. And Ralph without Clark? Raplh seems to have put on some weight. Maybe he ate Clark? Truth be told KOF has always pretty much spoiled me with a huge roster. But this roster. I dunno. I also thought for sure Oswald would be back as the flashier graphics would suite his fighting style (get it?... sigh sorry). Some Raiden fan feels pretty vindicated I guess.
 
I decided to pick up a PS2 and KoF98UM(as well as GGAC+, pre-order)

I've always had a place in my heart for the KoF series, but the loss of Mai in KoFXII (my favorite character) is pretty hurtful. She was easy to play, fun to look at, and Im shocked at her absence in KoFXII due to how big her Fanbase.(Its bigger than those funbags on her chest and her junk in the trunk, combined.)

KoFXII looks like a good time still, and I bet you anything. If she isn't included on home ports, she could be DLC (I'd pay for in a heartbeat)

98, 99, 02, and 03 are the only KoF's I played. BIG fan of 98. How was XI?
