Meh. A release date that soon can only mean that the chances of any console-exclusive characters appearing is slim. If the roster didn't suck completely, I would be a lot more excited. Now, a 2002 UM release date would be something to be excited about.
 
There was already no chance of extra characters in 12

Unlike the old title where they could just port sprites, the ones in KoF12 are extremely expensive and time consuming to make.

So don't let the older games spoil you. Previous installments were much later entries in a long running series. This game is essentially a series reset.
